Teachers from Buenos Aires travel the world teaching Tango, and some visit Kitchener/Waterloo every year.
Every year, K/W plays host to itinerant Tango teachers touring the world.
They bring authentic Argentine Tango to our community, offering group and individual classes.
Here are some profiles of teachers who have visited.
Amira Campora
Theatrical performer as well as milonguera, her performances are stories (often comic) that bring tango characters to life.
If you can keep up with her thorough, challenging classes, she might have you dancing to some very intense milonga music.
Michelle y Miguel Coppini
Based in Hamilton with classes across greater Toronto, Michelle y Miguel teach tango figures with excellent technique behind them.
Their classes are always engaging. Michelle manages the flow of the class, while Miguel gives instruction with dry humour (the Batman references are free).
Roxana y Fabian
We are blessed to host these incredible dancers year after year. They teach flawless tango for everyday dancing, and perform world-class stage dancing.
