Health Benefits of Tango
Tango is gentle aerobic exercise: you can dance Tango as lightly or as energetically as you wish.
Frequent “dissociation” (turning) in the torso helps increase core strength and flexibility.
Maybe most importantly, Tango acts like meditation to promote mindfulness: leading, following, and keeping time with the music all help build concentration and “being in the moment”.
